This is the second edition.

The first edition of this LP features an image from the alchemical text Rosarium philosophorum. The artwork caused a lot of controversy with the US cover being replaced within a few months by a second US cover; a black & white photo of Cohen. In the UK, an alternate version of the artwork (with a wing added to hide the naughty parts) was featured on the initial release.
